Rajasthan, known as the land of marble is also known for marble carvings and inlay work. Marble is mined around the state and brought to villages of the craftsmen for carving.Tea and dinner sets, bowls with glasses, andtable ware are also crafted here. The marble items, especially the tableware, are further embellished with enameling. Jaisalmer, Nagaur, Sirohi, Udaipur, and Nathdwara are also important centers for the craft.
